I hope this post finds you well. For a while now I have wanted to do a few fashion type posts, for some women post partum it can be difficult to be comfortable in your own skin. You have just gone through 9 months of carrying a baby while wearing at times what can be constituted as a small parachute. You then give birth and where i didnt expect to be back in my skinny jeans the next day I did look forward to having more options than my maternity clothes.
As I have chatted about here it can be tricky to feel fashionable post partum, I am breastfeeding and I still have 4 pounds to go to reach my pre pregnancy weight, its that awkward I don’t want to spend lots of money to loose lots of weight afterwards but I still need clothes to wear delima.
Anyway here is my outfit from the past week and just because I couldn’t resist I got Nathanael in on the act too!
Cardigan – Gap Outlet £7.99 – I scored this lovely spring coloured cardigan this past weekend and I am so pleased I usually can never find sale items that I actually want to wear.
Top – Blooming Marvelous Nursing Longline Vest £15
Jeans – I am living in New Look Denim Jeggings post c section they are comfy and I refuse to buy anything more expensive until all the weight I want to loose is off.
Footwear – Faith White Wedge Sandals – I so miss my job and the store, these sandals came in white and a gorgeous mustard colour I wish I picked those up at the time as well.
Foundation – Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser in Blush
Concealer – Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer in Light
Brows – Maybeline Master Shape in Soft Brown
Eyes – Maybeline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze
Eyeliner – L’oreal Paris Super Liner Perfect Slim in Intense Black
Mascara – Max Factor Clump Defy False Lash Effect in Black
Blush – Sleek Blush in Rose Gold 926
Highlight – Christain Dior Amber Diamond 002
Lips – Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in Imagianaire 56
Top – Next, now that Nate is eating I tend to pop a top over a white bodysuit that can come off when he is trying some new food.
Bottoms – Primark, I am really impressed with how these have worn, for clothing that is easily outgrown I like to mix and match items
